I am in love.

I am in love with my brand new Toshiba 30″ widescreen flatscreen HDTV.

This moving out on my own… its expensive, but its FABULOUS!!!! I got brand new living room furniture. I got what I wanted, and I love it. I got coffee table and end tables. New TV and stand.

Oh I’m in heaven. This is my HOME. I’ve never felt so at home anywhere.

Once I clean up the initial mess, I’ll post pictures.

Well, really there’s not a whole lot to it

I was miserable, living at home cuz I couldn’t afford to live on my own, broke up with Matthew, hated my job.

Usually, once or twice a year, I fly out to Manitoba to visit my family. This time when I went, at the end of March/beginning of April, I had plans to meet up with some Internet friends from the Peg as well.

A couple days before I was scheduled to fly out, my friend Jenna sent me an email telling me about an internal job posting where she works. We both agreed it sounded pretty much like me so she said she’d set up an interview for me while I was out there.

So I had my interview, it went really well… obviously 😛 The interview was April 1, I was told I had it on April 5, and by April 20 I was in my Mustang on route to Winnipeg, MB. April 25 I started my new job. May 1 I got my first apartment.

A lot can happen in a month eh?

When did they stop putting peanuts on the top of new jars of peanut butter?

I was so looking forward to that 🙁

Here I am sitting in my apartment.

Tonight is the first night I’m actually staying overnight. I’ve had the place since May 1, but without furniture, things are quite difficult. So tonight I’m sleeping on an air matress.

I went grocery shopping today, $100 later… 🙁 Plus all the money I’ve invested in Walmart and Canadian Tire these past few days… yikes!!

My job is great, I love it. I surf the Internet for a living. How cool is that? Plus everyone is sooooooo nice.

I’ll post pictures of my apartment later, I lent my digital camera to a friend.

I am so happy I moved out here. I am so happy.

So I’m kind of moving again…

… to Winnipeg …

… in 10 days

Unprepared? Yup. Scared? Uh yeah a little!
